Just kidding, I am an Enneagram 9. I do things to please others, I do not go out of my way to make special requests, this usually works to my advantage because I believe you can attract more bees with honey than with vinegar. Being a demanding tourist does NOT work in your favor, especially in Europe.

Research is your friend. Once you decide where you want to travel next, the next step is to begin your research. Read everything you can find, including this blog! I like to get information from multiple sources. I use books (I like Rick Steves), YouTube (I hope to have a channel soon!), Facebook groups like “Romewise”, Instagram pages like “Visit Italy”, try looking up #hashtags of the place you are visiting. The biggest thing to remember is that all of this is opinion! Yes, there is fact married in but for the most part what you are reading is simply someone’s account of a trip they have been on. You can’t control the weather, the other tourists, the attitude of others, the airlines, anything really. All you can control is yourself and your attitude, so head into your trip knowing that you have done your due diligence and you are doing what YOU want to do. After than roll with it!
